Dalen Claytor

Student at Georgetown University

(Former Black Rhino and Scholarship Recipient)

“I have been exposed to many great men of the Delta Mu Mu chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. While in elementary and middle school the Jasper twins (Travis and Travan) (both medical doctors ) would often visit my school and talk to a group of African-American boys about life and career. My high school principal, Dr. Kevin Harris helped me to successfully matriculate into Georgetown University where I have earned over a 3.0 GPA every semester since I enrolled in 2010. Growing up without a father in my household I learned a lot from great Omega Men. It is my responsibility to give back to the youth the same way that Omega Men extended their time and patience to me.”

Treavor Scales

Parents of soon to be Harvard grad, Treavor Scales (Former Black Rhino and Scholarship Recipient)“Our son has continued to ask for guidance and support from the men of the Delta Mu Mu chapter of Omega Psi Phi. He talks to his personal mentor once a month which led to a rich and prosperous academic and athletic career at Harvard University. He will graduate with a major in Economics and a minor in Broadcast Journalism in May 2013. As a family, we reserved a seat at Harvard’s 2013 Commencement for his mentor who represents the Delta Mu Mu chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. with first class. Our son is blessed to have a mentor of this caliber.”
